Fall Schedule for YAG
September 24th "Fourth Friday of Fun" Andy & Michelle Casad are organizing a Mission Beach potluck to meet new grad students/other yags and kick off the year right. This might be changed to 9/25, so be sure to check the email/bulletin for more details. September 26th -- WELCOME MASS 4pm at Revelle's Sculpture Garden (aka "Stonehenge") October 3rd Masses Always want to attend something, but never find the time/are shy because you might not know anyone? Masses on October 3rd will have a brief little intro of some of our YAGs, with an opportunity to talk with them after mass. October 8th Theology On Tap Again, at Good Sam's (room TBA) -- We hope to have a "Catholic Voting" discussion and information night covering some hot political topics. October 29th "5th Friday" Pumpkin Carving James & Whitney will host our "Fifth Friday of Fun" -- Pumpkin carving just in time for Halloween. November 12th Theology On Tap Post Read What?!?! that's right, be on the look for an email where you get to help pick a book to be discussed at the November TOT... A couple month's notice should be plenty of time to prepare, but you are of course welcome to come even if you haven't read the book chosen. Email with more info to come... November 26th "Fourth Friday of Fun" That's right! Join us to waddle through a hike to help burn off your post-Thanksgiving gluttony. Marisa picks the location, and we hoof it with no complaints. If you know of a particularly fun hike that you'd like to do, email her with ideas. December 3rd Christmas On the Prado Yes, even if they stick with "December Nights," we will meet to join in Balboa Park for Christmas on the Prado. Marisa and Whitney will be organizing carpools and meeting times/locations. December 10th Theology On Tap is Cancelled in Favour of our YAG Christmas Party -- Time and location TBA.
