DSSL Charge (To be updated soon!)

• Provide a forum for information-sharing regarding computer support.

• Facilitate two-way communication between the DSSL and the IT Department.

• Monitor the desktop computing environment in the libraries and suggests changes to current policies and procedures.

• Determine and promote common skills and best practices for DSSLs.

• Monitor and evaluate current trends in technology related to desktop support.

• Report and interpret policies, procedures, and best practices to individual units.
