Work Schedule
You and your supervisor will decide on your work schedule. Once your schedule has been agreed upon, it is important that you report to work promptly and keep schedule changes to a minimum.
You are expected to report to work for your scheduled hours, unless (1) you have found a qualified substitute, for cases in which substitutes are permissible, and notified your supervisor in advance of the change, or (2) you have obtained prior approval for your absence from your supervisor. Requests for schedule changes should be made only for special circumstances; you are expected to plan ahead to meet academic assignments so that your attendance at work will not be affected. For final exams, flexible hours may be arranged in advance, with your supervisor's approval. Unauthorized absences are grounds for disciplinary action; after one written warning, a second offense may result in immediate termination.
