1. FVL's
holdings are listed in Roger
& MELVYL. In Roger, to search for FVL material only, choose
"Select Collection", then select "Film & Video Library".
2. Use FVL webpage for Finding Aids & Pathfinders with links to Roger.
3. Collection is for classroom instruction or study only. Off-site circulation of video collection is restricted to current UCSD faculty, graduate students.Film Prints do not circulate. Checking out a FVL item is just like checking out a book. You need a valid UCSD ID card & need to be registered with the UCSD Libraries. On-site viewing is available for undergraduate students. Undergraduates may use material for a classroom presentation. Instructor's note is needed to confirm presentation date. Checkout is for day of presentation only. Material must be returned same day.
4. All FVL Items, for off-site use or classroom use, must be picked-up and returned to the FVL service desk. For further information see notice.
5. FVL materials Circulate for 3 days with one 3 day renewal only. Can renew in person, by phone, or e-mail.
6. There are limited facilities at the FVL for on-site viewing of videos and laser disks for UCSD students, faculty and staff. Film & Video Reserves, located next to the FVL can support individual and group viewing. See below.
7. 16mm film prints are restricted to on-site and classroom use.

Out of Print Videos do not circulate.
